Hoosier Asks for RULES

Posted by Bob on August 4th, 2008 under General

So, what are your parameters for General Comments, Bob? Can a person talk about everything or anything there, or do you place limits on what can be discussed?
It’s your house and I’m just a guest, but I won’t know unless I ask. I haven’t seen any guidelines posted anywhere, other than following along what everybody else is doing, But, I may have missed some sort of posted guidelines.

My “parameter’ is courtesy. If you are a boor, no rule is going to cure you.

I am proud of the fact that, with the group here, our (me and the tech team’s) ability to disapprove any comment is almost NEVER used. Even when I was criticizing AFKAN for trying to turn BUGS into a Covington Fan Club, he was still stalking about RACE, which happens to be what we are interested in.

I don’t have to tell seminary members not to talk about Texas Hold ‘Em. I would not insult them by stating that filthy language will not be tolerated here. I do not have to tell grownups that correct spelling is preferred.

Hoosier, this is GRADUATE SEMINAR, not a military academy for undisciplined retards.

My question was a straightforward attempt to find out the parameters here.

I meant talking about about Texas Hold’em poker, WITHIN the spirit of this forum, and I stated I’d try to to that. I’ll add now, if the opportunity comes up, not trying to force something that doesn’t fit.

I didn’t mean starting an off-the-wall conversation that didn’t relate to anything here.
In the interest of being explicit, I know that this forum’s focus is primarily on racial issues, it only takes reading a topic or two to realize that.

However, I’ll admit to being a retard from time to time, and also undisciplined at times too. On the other hand, I have my strong points. If, for whatever reason, Bob, you don’t want me here, just say so. I’ll go away.

    Hoosier:

Welcome to the National Football League!

Of course, we want you, and, of course, we know you will use Texas Hold ‘Em as a metaphor; come to think of it, you never have used Texas Hold-Em as a metaphor, so I suspect you were jesting!

If Bob comes across as a bit of a hardass, well, it’s because he is.

The hour is late, and the stakes are nothing less than Racial Survival.

You will notice, by the way, that Brother Linder is also cleaning up the Forum effective 1 sept. He has a sticky dealing with this in one of the top forum areas – either General Discussion, I think.

I don’t think this is by accident.

The chance of an Obama Presidency – and the subsequent de facto nullification of the Republican Party – seems to act as a culling effect, and the wolf cubs are going to have to become real smart wolves, as parts of real smart wolf packs, real fast.

Over here, look at the wide range of issues we are dealing with in General Comments.

And, thanks for dealing constructively with me on the issues of Movement Past, Kevin Alfred Strom, and the appalling ineffectiveness of our young men as Men.

You were the only person on VNN who did that.

    Hello AFKANNow

I have used Texas Hold’em as a metaphor, but you must have missed that. It may have been when Vaultner was busy sinking his teeth into your ankle, verbally speaking, you remember.

I wasn’t jesting about Texas Hold’em poker, as I’ve learned so many things playing that game that relate to life in general, and the particular racial game we’re playing in particular. It’s a form of economic warfare.

But when I wrote that, here, I was just writing what was on my mind at that time, without much thought, or any big plans or thoughts of what I may write later. I may not talk about it at all.

I can think of all kinds of things I’ve experienced that range from sales and marketing to alcoholism to sex to yes, poker, and so on, that relate to the topics on this forum, and from what I’ve read, so can you.

It makes things interesting, instead of regurgitating the same old Hitler/Rockwell/Pierce/The Founding Fathers said this or that, for the 100,000th time, which can get mighty boring. I suppose it has it’s place, but variety is the spice of life, don’t you know?

And considering we haven’t been doing very well up to this point, why not try a different source or a different point of view? The mind, or at least, my mind, is wonderful at combining information from all kinds of sources into new and useful connections.

That’s my sales pitch for “give me some wiggle room.”

Bob may be a hard ass, but I’ve grown a fang or two myself lately, after having some wins with some noble Negroes in real time. So he can boot me, or we can let the games begin. Who knows, maybe I’ll not like the format and just fade away.

I’ll talk to you more in GC, A.
