Simmons says:
I’m probably not helping you with Taylor, I keep trying to post some of your wisdom there in one form or another and barely 25% of it makes it thru. On the other hand the continual litany of remarks in the form, “As if Bob W. was never born” fill out the comments section. Still your points make it thru, a few month’s ago Taylor asked a rhetorical question as to what “racism” actually is instead of relying on the liberal assumptions that the “respectables” use.

ME:

As you well know, I don’t matter and Jared’s personal attitude toward me couldn’t matter less.

The ONLY thing that counts is that 25%. You keep at THAT and I will be a happy old coot.

American Renaissance reminds me of the John Birch Society. Welch wanted to alert the American people to the threat of communism, and he was lavishly funded by some circumcised gentlemen as long as he avoided mentioning the jewish role in it. Taylor wants to alert the American people to the threats of immigration and multiculturalism, and is lavishly funded… etc.

Taylor and the CCC folks are useful in the same way that Alexander Hamilton was useful in the American Revolution: they bring ideas to the mainstream.

But after independence, Hamilton needed to be side-stepped since he really neither understood nor valued the principles of independence. It turned out that his motivation for supporting independence were his own personal gain — not unlike the people who seem to be for racial freedom today, but are obviously most interested in promoting themselves.

In the end, failing to deal effectively with the Hamilton crowd led to Lincoln’s War, the loss of freedom, and the death of th old republic. Today’s self-promoters are necessary to our cause of racial freedom, but down the road they will make themselves the enemies of the race.

Peter, would you expand on this? I’ve never run across this line of reasoning before (I went to public school).
