History has nothing to do with the past. History is information that is produce and sold like any other information. If you want to know what is true, you have to analyze “history” like any other information that is produced.
People HATE that idea, because distorted history can have so many more exciting causes. You can produce and sell a World Conspiracy tome using just a few of the endless truly egregious distortions in any history text. Why waste all that on a simple explanation?
People HATE simple explanations. My discussions of the obvious reasons that history has nothing to do with the past does not involve Big Names and Secret Deals. It has none of the pizazz and popularity of an issue of People Magazine.
Which is why People Magazine is PRODUCED.
In the case of the Titanic, for example, all discussion for a century focused on the design and the designer. He deserted the ship and was a Big Man. Big and interesting people designed and built the thing, and it is THEM that people want to read about.
It turns out that the biggest reason Titanic went down was that some of the pieces put in at the shipyard were shoddy, iron instead of steel, and Best grade instead of Best-Best. Try to make a really thrilling exposure of THAT!
The Titanic was an accident waiting to happen. It went down THEN because the officer in charge swung the ship, so that its hull plates were unzipped when it hit an iceberg. If they had hit the iceberg head on, the Titanic was built for that and would have survived.
These are INTERESTING causes. You can groan about the lack of a simple pair of binoculars; the lookouts had none. You can thrill at that moment what the man at the helm made a split-second decisions. During World War II the Germans even made a movie showing it was all the fault of the Britons because they didn’t listen to the one German officer aboard.
But a RIVET? Hull plates attached by the wrong sort of material, bad iron instead of good steel?
Put in by a bunch of common laborers or subcontractors no one in Hollywood could possibly relate to?
Try to make THAT thrilling, and lots of luck!

Have long been curious about the materials that were used in the World Trade Center. The only hint I’ve ever seen along those lines was, I believe, by Alex Cockburn, editor of the leftie Counterpunch.com. Red he may be but he does have a commonsense cynicism about the unacknowledged triteness of most of the human experience. Exciting as wave theories and secret controlled demolitions may sound, greedy developers, greedier contractors, shoddy workmanship, substandard materials and corrupt building inspectors make more sense. Sort of explains Haiti too.

Like Semmelweis I waged war on that vile word, “racist”, yet the semi-pros in awe of the PHDs continue on with its use. But an amateur Cragi Bodecker took it on in a way that even the semi-pros at Amren and CofCC had to take notice.
Anyway this history Bob speaks of is written for whites with basically slightly above average IQ and little time on their hands to actually delve into the details of the basics.
That aside in this month’s Rolling Stone there is an article on the “Yoga cult” and guess where its recruiting hotspots are? College campuses in Iowa and Illinois where there is no shortage of slightly above average IQ people, the kind just smart enough to want to join something exclusive but too dumb to challenge the authority of the cult leaders. (AGW classic example as is the anti-racist cult)
Without going into BGglass length both Bob’s and Dave’s thoughts in this thread do merge and they merge at the footsteps of a cult the anti-white cult.

I never understood as a freshman in college about the importance of primary sources when writting about an historical event. I naively assumed that all those historical books others had written were objective and just as good a source to use for writting a report. However being older and just comparing the tone of a book written 80 years ago to most that came out recently one can see that a main goal of a lot of authors is to write their version of history pleasing to the zeitgeist. Like all these useless disertations comming out of the “Women’s studies” department about some lesbian softball league in the 40’s.
In regards to the mantra I see what Bob is getting at when he talks about how endless lectures on crime stats aren’t the way to go. I see posters on other sites dwell obsessively on certain cases of black murderers, almost gleefully relishing in the sordid details of the crime. But everyone except for the stupidest insulated college age Scandanavian types already know that blacks are violent and dangerous. They might not know the full extent, but dwelling on it seems almost like kicking an opponent when he’s down, we can sense this isn’t really about outrage over the crime but an indictment of the whole black race.
A second absolutely useless tactic I see on the far right is spending all their time ragging on about Israel. To think that you are going to have any effect on the masses by making their first exposure to WN thought be some endless diatribe against Israel is just a huge counter productive waste of time. I agree there are very real concerns about Israeli influence on our foreign policy. But even someone who agrees will see Israel as a sideshow to what leftist diaspora jews have done to the US.

The mighty, unsinkable Titanic gained a reputation for a ship that had yet to set sail. The Titanics reputation was based solely on words, those who scoffed at the wordist hype faced indignation from the repectables. Like the Titanic, the Genocide of the White Race is glorified with wordist hype, Multiculturalism and Diversity is strength, they always fail to point out the poverty and misery that prevails in Brown countries.
The PC establishment slants our history, culture and inventiveness as a race. They fail to acknowledge the obvious degradation that diversity has led to. The Titanic sank because the steel was brittle, the White race is steel, diversity is the impurity that weakens the Gene Pool and weakens the steel. When will people wake up and see the decks are flooding?
