OUR Blog

Posted by Bob on September 9th, 2010 under Coaching Session

A commenter with good taste said he or she was getting a lot out of backbaygrouch, (BBG)‘s comments and asked if BBG had a blog a of his own. He does. It is the blog you are reading now.

Take it from me, it would be a lot of work for BBG to set up his own blog. And tiny blogs tend to get tinier. I don’t think anybody but a monomaniacal would want a columnist’s job of writing a new piece each day for free.

This is Dave’S and Simmons’ and Sheri’s blog, too. They do more writing here than most private bloggers do on their own sites.

This group’s comments on the daily article helps, but I get a lot of joy looking at General Comments IV. There we have BUGSers who are actually out there in the field, trying out sites and different approaches.

White Rabbit and Trucker Roy are out there TRYING it, not whining at the rest of us.

White Rabbit, who is out competing for a more general audience, kindly reports to me from time to time. I hope he is not disappointed in my lack of replies, but his reports show that he is going about it in the best way, so what’s to comment on?

White Rabbit is surprised to discover that his site is getting to be “hep” among a lot of young people. I’ve seen that before, as when the conservative movement grew up in the early sixties.

Those responsible for the growth of conservatism brought in young people because they didn’t do the same old bitching about balanced budgets conservative losers repeated endlessly to earn their salaries.

White Rabbit is trying out new approaches, each of them involving a lot of talent and practice. He found that his audience doesn’t grow if he hammers on one issue, so he sticks in Mantra Thinking a lot where he can fit it in.

Which is the way all professional media get their political message across. And it can only be done by practice and experimentation.

After seeing me rail endlessly at News and Jews, WR was almost apologetic in saying that he had found that news sells, so he uses a lot of it. He does that White Rabbit and gets young folks because, his readers say, he delivers hope with his news. His spin on the news gives young people hope and attracts them.

There is no way I will mix WR’s work up with the News and Jews obsessives on SF.

I wear the White Rabbit tee-shirt and act like a proud grandpa, “This is one of MAH granchillen.” The fact that the baby had three other grandparents never comes up, at least in my dialogue.

It is due to my efforts that WE have a blog. So when the commenter asked whether BBG has a blog of his own, it is a compliment to the success of BUGS that he does.

In a team effort, you don’t have to take anything from another team member to feel good about what YOU did to make it possible.

While I tend to post here in cycles (taking long breaks in between), I can say that no other blog has actually influenced my worldview like this one(and this includes the comments).

I see Bob as a modern Socrates, who is laying the groundwork for a new philosophy of the West. It’s up to his students (like Xenophen or Plato) to take his work and continue to add to it.

Follow the White Rabbit is one way of doing this. Every Time someone engages in practical politics, they are continuing Bob’s work as well.

And this is only the beginning. I’m pretty sure Socrates didn’t think people would still be influenced by his work 3000 years after his death?

If you think about it, anti-racism = anti-white is the highest of logical expressions. It’s just as logical as: if a=b and b=c then a=c.

Some blogs take the “news and jews” and tie them back into the esential point. Here’s one!http://age-of-treason.blogspot.com/2010/09/invasive-species-full-speed-attack-mode.html

It would help if some places like v-dare and others would actually post The Mantra for their readers consideration. It would not take away from their emphasis or style.

Robert Whitaker addresses a fundamental problem in society and that is people won’t listen to you unless you are charismatic or in the alternative you are on offer for academic credit. What that means is people do not lend their ears rationally.

What is to be done about it?

Learn a new way of seeing and thinking. For example, read Robert Whitaker’s post, “We Are Repeating OLD Errors”. You are receiving instruction that ups the ante on anything the most prestigious Ivy League instructor has to offer, yet you didn’t have to bid and the instruction was free.

Personally, I was INSTRUCTED. But then again I have always been a good student, so when the professor said on the first day of class that a blanket grade of failure would be given every member of class regardless of performance I declined to leave the room, thereby passing the first of many tests.

I swam away from my social conditioning knowing the real crime of academia is not the price of instruction per se or the rigorous system of examinations. Instead, it is the academic transcript as an instrument of self-betrayal. The problem with the University is that for most (self-betrayers) power never begins. It does not occur to most students to blame themselves. If they did blame themselves, seminars would have never died and the University would have been left with nothing to traffic in.

Think of the absurdity that power (practical knowledge that really means something) is instead found in a blog.

It means the Establishment is conning itself and blogs are the kind of terrain where revolutions rise.

I partly credit my not having finished college with my having a brain left. My acquaintances thought I was very strange that when I was in school I actually wanted to learn something. It’s no wonder our country is falling to pieces and that many of our elite, Ivy Leaguers cheat their way through their careers, like they cheated (sometimes literally) their way through their education.

The best things in life ARE free and I thank you Bob, Dave, Simmons and Sheri for your thoughtful contributions.

Shari-regarding posting the Mantra…it’s funny. Sometimes I post it in SF threads and offer it as a solution but if it’s a whiny post people keep whining. That’s what I SEE though. I’m hopeful that some quiet lurkers will begin to take it up and use it. I strongly believe in the power of the Mantra so I just let it do it’s magic.

Bob can I use the phrase “Muslim countries” in the Mantra?

serious may I suggest blame the whiners for ignoring our genocide so they can feel good about whining over some News & Jews. Then tell them to take up the Mantra instead of being a sniveling nitwit.

    >After seeing me rail endlessly at News and Jews, WR was almost apologetic

The problem with News and Jews at SF and everywhere else in WN, is its always Bad News, All Powerful Jews and Wordism overpowering common sense.

Whats great about the White Rabbit, is he turns everything upside down.
