William Pierce, the highly successful leader of the National Alliance, was a man I knew, liked, and respected. As soon as he died, the organization became moribund.
Something he said near the end of his life has become the basis of what I want from BUGS.
He was asked if there was anyone to take over after his demise. He is reported to have replied, “Yes, but none of them are still alive.” This struck the people who quoted it to me as a piece of ironic humor.
It didn’t amuse me.
It scared the hell out of me.
The man was stating frankly that he had thrown his LIFE away!
I didn’t consider that a bit amusing.
If you can keep that ironic remark in mind without a blackout, you can understand that I am on the hunt to have people on hand who can take the BUGS message right on without a break, whether I am here or not.
For years BoardAd has been the anchor for our tech work and done the WORK of being editor.
I have been urging him for years to take over and MAKE DECISIONS as editor. HE felt he was too young. So I am ECSTATIC that he has decided to get in here and take control.
One thing I had to learn over the years was delegation. It takes guts to delegate. But you have probably had experience with management that thinks it has to monitor every single step taken by those it manages. You can’t play that game in the big leagues.
If you delegate you become responsible for others’ mistakes. It’s scary.
But if you DON’T delegate, your managerial sphere is going to be VERY limited.
And if you don’t delegate, especially after the age of 70, you might be saying that everything you have worked for dies with you.
Intellectually I begat White Rabbit and he begat beefcake. But it never occurred to White Rabbit or beefcake to clear their initiatives with me.
To put it another way, Ole Coach will advise you when you need it, but you’re the one in the field.
I can’t do your blocking or your passing for you.
And one day the guys on the field now will have to coach their own teams.
If not, the season will be over forever.

Quite a team is being developed, this thing has legs. Part of that is because the Mantra message and approach are so successful. And maybe its just the right time in history. The new guys are so much more media savvy then pro-Whites were 30 years ago.
I’m not sure about William Pierce. With respect, he came off like a standard Nazi guy to me (although I know he was very smart). It didn’t seem like his message was particularly original, and that Turner book stuff just makes me roll my eyes, but maybe I missed something. .

There is order in disorder and disorder in order.
Intelligence is the ability to detect structure. But there is no meaning without passion.
That is why it is important to believe in people, to have faith in people, and not be afraid of people. This is not some rule to follow. You have to feel it in your heart to know it.

The best stories ever written have a limited amount of writers. People re-print their stories, but those stories don’t teach anybody HOW to be writers.
The Mantra is different.
Mantra thinking is different.
This is a War of Words, and the Mantra is the basic style of an effective Tactic to win, and so verbally it is a MARTIAL ART.
Many Martial Arts have survived for centuries, because others can learn the methods, and MORE importantly, once they learn them, they too can teach them.
Some Martial Arts, have survived for SO long that nobody remembers exactly WHO invented them.
The Originators of such martial arts rest peacefully however; because they know in their slumber that people out there every day are still BEATING the SH!T out of someone with those Tactics.
Our team does not write books.
We use Tactics.
Once you use Tactics for a while, you can learn to pass them on.
Even if my name is forgotten, I will be very pleased whenever an Anti-Whites shows up, they are still having the verbal sh*t beat out of them in 1000+ years.

Bob, we need some new tactics in our struggle. Here is a first simple idea. We get a website with news-links on it, with news concerning our issues. We then swarm into the comments section with the mantra. If they censor so many people repeating the mantra, we hit them with round-about comments. Some people will instinctively link to your page.
We wake the people up with the message on news-sites. We get more people to come into our corner, and wake up people who are looking for up but have not found us.

Dr. Pierce truly had a Viking funeral. The National Alliance was his ship and it went down in flames after his death, never to be put to use by anyone after him, just like he wanted it. He intentionally cut the legs out from anyone with any competence whatsoever, and promoted loyal lapdogs, and he did it for decades. Actually, when you recall all of the sordid details of the demise of the NA, the image of a Viking ship adrift and ablaze might be too charitable. It was more like a dumpster fire.
It was a good example, and there are more than a few lessons to be learned from it all.

Dr. Pierce was correct, and the NA fell apart without him.
Coach is right, if you devote your life to building a dead end organization, then you leave no legacy behind.
Mr. F.H. Maloney did the same in Houston. From scratch, the build a very successful business with a large customer base all around the world. But you have probably never heard of the F.H. Maloney Company, because he died back in the 1970’s and the company mostly died with him.
A great legacy would be: We saved White Children from extinction.
